... when your children, having spent all day bickering, have a huge argument and both threaten to run away from home. And instead of trying to calm them down and act as peacemaker, you ask them if they'll be wanting one suitcase or two...

LOL! I do think parents get to a breaking point.
Yes, but we're never happy. We spend the whole holiday boring on about how we can't wait for the school holidays to be over, and then once the kids are at school we moan about how empty the house seems without them. (I would like to state for the record that the house doesn't seem at all empty without E & P. It still seems very full - of all their stuff...)
